I am excited to collaborate with community partners and help ensure equitable access to Denver’s exceptional quality of life.
Chiquita Sanders, Community Connector (SW Denver):
Hello! My name is Chiquita Sanders, and was born in New Orleans, LA. I consider myself a Denverite, as I was raised here since I was 9 years old. I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Sciences from the University of Northern Colorado. I am passionate about youth, outdoors, family, and connectivity. I am excited to help Southwest Denver residents foster a community of individuals, families, and organizations to help them grow and challenge themselves to become better community members for themselves and each other. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two boys, cooking, and reading.
