We are excited to announce a funding opportunity to support the amazing community work happening in Denver right now in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. CALC funded individuals up to $300 and groups up to $500 (2 or more people) to support work in walkability, bikeability, or access to safe and healthy spaces for physical activity. Applications were be accepted immediately and on a rolling basis.
Examples of what micro-grants can help fund:
Programming or beautification of temporary road closures on City Streets that encourages social distancing, recreation, and placemaking
Supplies for community or local gardens (seedlings, tools, soil or mulch, materials for raised beds)
Arts and craft materials or supplies for uplifting community art projects (chalk, paint, signs, postcards and stamps, clean-ups, etc) to promote safe physical activity and outdoor activity
Materials to support neighborhood walking or bicycle delivery services (bicycles, front or rear-wheel racks, delivery trailers, rolling carts, baskets or panniers)
Supplies or signage for solo walking or biking tours that encourage social distancing (hats, reusable water bottles, kites, umbrellas, chalk, yard signs)
Translation/interpretation services for active living-related projects, such as those listed above
Gift certificates for volunteers
Out of the box ideas!
What we cannot fund at this time:
Direct compensation to individuals for services
Perishable or non-perishable food items
Personal hygiene, protective equipment, cleaning supplies, or single-use items (i.e., disposable gloves)
Projects not related to built environment, physical activity, or transportation
Who is eligible to apply: Any individual or organization in the City & County of Denver
Requirements:
Project must follow and support State of Colorado & City of Denver stay-at-home orders and social distancing guidelines along the entire lifecycle, from material procurement to actual usage
Funds will be dispersed in the form of direct purchase of materials or gift cards
Project must be completed by June 30, including documentation of project (e.g. pictures and a brief write-up) and completion of a brief post-evaluation survey
Preference will be given to projects that serve a high-need community or vulnerable populations
To Apply:
Fill out this brief Google form with your name(s), the type of service you’re involved in, and a brief description of how you plan to use the funds to support your community. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until June 15th or grant funds are fully expended.

La Coalición para una Comunidad de Vida Activa de Denver (CALC, por su sigla en inglés), un programa del Departamento de Transporte e Infraestructura de Denver anuncia una oportunidad de financiamiento para apoyar el asombroso trabajo comunitario desarrollándose en este momento en Denver en respuesta a la pandemia de COVID-19. CALC financiará a personas con hasta $ 300 y a grupos con hasta $ 500 (2 o más personas) para apoyar trabajos de caminabilidad, ciclabilidad, o accesibilidad a espacios seguros y saludables para la actividad física. Servicios de traducción o interpretación para proyectos relacionados con la vida activa.

Liên Minh Nếp Sống Cộng Đồng Denver Năng Động (CALC) là một chương trình của Bộ Giao Thông và Cấu Trúc, thông báo về môt cơ hội gây quỹ hỗ trợ việc làm hiện tại đầy kinh ngạc đang xảy ra trong cộng đồng Denver để đối phó với dịch cúm lớn COVID-19. Vật liệu hay bảng hiệu cho khách đi bộ hay đạp xe từng nhóm nhưng cổ võ cách ly xã hội (mũ nón, chai nước xử dụng lại, diều, dù, phấn, các dấu hiệu ngoài sân bãi)
Các dịch vụ phiên dịch/thông dịch cho những dự án gặp mặt trực tiếp

Các dự án không liên quan đến xây dựng môi trường, sinh hoạt thể thao hay vận chuyển
Ai có thể nộp đơn: Mỗi cá nhân hay tổ chức trong quận và thành phố Denver
Các Điều Kiện:
Dự án phải tuân thủ và hỗ trợ lệnh ở nhà của Bang Colorado và Thành Phố Denver cũng như hướng dẫn cách ly xã hội suốt thời gian hiệu lực từ khi nhận vật dụng đến khi xử dụng
Việc tài trợ bằng hình thức mua trả trực tiếp vật liệu hay cấp cho bưu thiếp
Dự án phải hoàn tất ngày 30 tháng Sáu, kể cả việc kèm theo sổ sách giấy tờ dự án (như hình ảnh và bản tường trình ngắn) và làm bản trưng cầu sau khi hoàn tất công trình
Sẽ ưu tiên cho các dự án phục vụ cộng đồng có nhu cầu cao hay nơi cư dân có điểm yếu

Xin hãy điền mẫu đơn gọn với tên tuổi của quý vị, dịch vụ mình muốn tham gia, và viết ngắn gọn đề án mà mình dự tính xử dụng tiền tài trợ để hỗ trợ cho cộng đồng của mình. Các đơn yêu cầu sẽ được cứu xét theo thứ tự cho đến ngày 15 tháng Sáu hay cho đến khi hết tiền quỹ tài trợ.
