Meditative Music - World Day of Remembrance

Music has long been considered one of the most potent, healing forces on Earth, capable of unlocking dormant energies and moving stuck emotions through our bodies. It is incredibly helpful for moving through grief, which can help ease pain, lessen anxiety, and increase relaxation and positive moods. We hope you find solace and healing in this compilation. In 2020, already 48 people have been killed in traffic crashes. Traffic crashes are not accidents —with the right actions and commitment, they are preventable. Serious traffic crashes cause significant harm to individuals, families, and society. No one thinks that traffic deaths among friends and family are acceptable, and we simply do not have to accept fatal crashes as inevitable. Denver’s Vision Zero commitment and Vision Zero Action Plan is a promise and a strategy for eliminating ALL traffic fatalities and serious injuries by 2030. While the World Day of Remembrance focuses on victims of traffic crashes, our team also acknowledges the 482 Denver neighbors who have also died of COVID-19 this year. We invite anyone who has experienced grief or loss of a loved one this year to participate with us in remembrance and healing. *Data as of November 14th, 2020 Vision Zero: https://www.denvergov.org/content/denvergov/en/vision-zero.html COVID-19: https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/50dbb5e7dfb6495292b71b7d8df56d0a
